Jodi Sta. Maria nanalo ng ‘Best Actress’ sa Asian Academy Creative Awards
PINATUNAYAN ng Kapamilya actress na si Jodi Sta. Maria na pang-international ang kanyang pag-arte.
Itinanghal kasi siya bilang “Best Actress” sa Asian Academy Awards na nangyari sa Singapore.
Ang pagkilala kay Jodi ay dahil sa kanyang pagganap sa teleseryeng “The Broken Marriage Vow,” isang Philippine adaptation mula sa British series na may titulong “Doctor Foster.”
Ibinandera ng Dreamscape Entertainment ang litrato ni Jodi na nakasuot ng red dress at hawak ang kanyang trophy.
May caption pa ito na, “Congratulations @jodistamaria for winning Best Actress in a Leading Role at the #AsianAcademyCreativeAwards for the ABS-CBN and Dreamscape Entertainment’s adaptation of ‘Doctor Foster’— #TheBrokenMarriageVow”

Sa isa pang post ay mapapanood naman ang isang video ng kanyang acceptance speech matapos makuha ang kanyang award.
Sa kanyang speech ay lubos niyang pinasasalamatan ang lahat ng mga bumubuo ng pinagbidahang teleserye.
Sinabi niya rin na ang nakuhang international award ang highlight ng kanyang career.
Sey niya sa kanyang speech, “This was so unexpected. Thank you to the Asian Academy, ABS-CBN, Dreamscape, BBC for allowing us to do the Philippine adaptation of ‘Doctor Foster.’ Our directors, direk Connie Macatuno and Andoy Ranay, my co-actors, the production team.”
Patuloy pa niya, “I will always say that it takes a privilege to be able to produce a wonderful series. Again, thank you because [this is] the highlight of my career. Thank you, thank you. God I give you back all the glory and praise. Thank you!”

Hindi ito ang unang beses na may napalanunan sa ibang bansa ang “The Broken Marriage Vow” dahil naiuwi rin nito ang “Best Format Adaptation (Scripted)” sa ContentAsia Awards 2022 na naganap sa Bangkok, Thailand noong Agosto.
