Iza Calzado pasabog ang 40th birthday, magiging mommy na
LABIS ang saya ng Kapamilya actress na si Iza Calzado nang ibandera niya ang panibagong chapter ng kanyang buhay.
Sobra sobra ang saya ng aktres dahil bukod sa pagse-celebrate ng kanyang kaarawan at ika-20th year sa mundo ng showbiz, ito rin ang taon kung saan magiging mommy na siya.
Sa kanyang Instagram post ngayong araw, August 12, kinumpirma ni Iza na iponagbubuntis na niya ang kanilang panganay na anak ng asawang si Ben Wintle.
“They say life begins at 40. So I had all these big plans for my for 40th year on Earth as it also coincides with my 20th year in the industry.
“I already completed a few of the exciting projects lined up for me and there were a few dream projects in the pipeline. I was ready to usher in this new chapter in my life,” panimula ni Iza.
Ngunit sa hindi inaasahang pagkakataon ay dumating ang pinakamagandang regalo at blessing sa kanila ng Panginoon.
“Then you came along. Unexpectedly. It was a shock in the beginning like ice cold water that gets thrown at you. This is not what I planned yet here you were. It took only a brief moment. I, then, instinctively knew that this was THE plan,” pagpapatuloy ni Iza.
Dagdag pa niya, “In my forty years I have come to discern when God is steering me to a different direction. A path I may not have thought of yet it always turns out to be the best for me. So now, I surrender to His will with no resistance.”
Naniniwala si Iza na mas higit na maganda ang plano ni Lord para sa kanya at buong puso niyang tinatanggap ang pagiging ina nang walang takot at walang pangamba.
“God’s plans are always far greater than mine and I humbly accept this new chapter of my life with a heart filled with gratitude, casting all my fears and worries aside and simply trusting in the divine timing and wisdom of life.
“Something deep inside me knows that you will propel me to greater heights to soar higher than ever before in ways I cannot even begin to imagine. You will give me THE WHY, THE PURPOSE, THE DIRECTION in life, and I embrace you in my life as we build, along with Ben — your dad, a FAMILY!” masayang sabi ni Iza.
At tulad nga ng sinabi ng isa sa kanyang mga karakter sa pelikulang “Starting Over Again” kung saan gumanap siya bilang si Patty, “In love, there is no fear”. Kaya naman pipiliin niyang mabuhay sa araw-araw na sinisigurong puno ng pagmamahal ang magiging anak.
“They were right. Life does begin at 40. Simply put, your life begins as your mother turns forty. To know that life is growing inside me is great miracle. You are my miracle. You are my guiding light. Thank You, Lord, for the most beautiful birthday gift. Our ABUNDANCE,” sey pa ni Iza.
Bumuhos naman ang masasayang pagbati ng madlang pipol maging ng mga kasamahan niya sa showbiz.
“Happy Birthday beautiful and Congratulations!!” saad ni Sunshine Cruz.
Comment naman ni Jake Cuenca, “Oh my gosh loveteam I’m so happy for you. Congratulations to you and Ben.”

Sa ngayon ay nasa Poole, United Kingdom ang aktres at kasalukuyang nagbabakasyon kasama ang kanyang asawa.
Mapapanood rin si Iza sa muling pagbabalik ng “Darna” sa telebisyon kung saan gumanap siya bilang ina ni Narda (Jane de Leon).
