“Someone shot a bodyguard and girl na binabantayan nila and everyone fled away from the incident.

Kinansela na rin ng ADMU ang graduating rites ng Ateneo Law School, “Ateneo is continuing to work with the police and other authorities to deal with the incident.”

“We are shocked and saddened by the events at the Ateneo graduation today. We mourn with the bereaved, the wounded, and those whose scars from this experience will run deep.

“We commit our law enforcement agencies to thoroughly and swiftly investigate these killings and bring all involved to justice.

“Our prayers go to the graduates, their families, the Ateneo community, and to the residents of Quezon City and Basilan,” mensahe ng Pangulo.

Sabi ni Supreme Court spokesperson Brian Keith Hosaka, “The Chief Justice is safe.”

Kinondena rin ni Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte ang nangyaring karahasan sa Ateneo, “We also extend our sincerest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims who lost their lives in the incident.”

Dagdag pa niya, mas paiigtingin nila ang seguridad sa buong Quezon City para masigurong walang mangyayaring karahasan sa unang State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Bongbong bukas, July 25.
