Listahan ng mga pelikulang pasok sa MMFF 2022, inilabas na
KUNG dati-rati ay nagpapaimbita na ang pamunuan ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority o MMDA para sa anunsyo ng mga pelikulang pumasa sa Metro Manila Film Festival 2022 na magsisimula sa December 25, ngayon ay hindi muna.
Ayon sa spokesperson ng MMFF na si Noel Ferrer ay pag kumpleto na ang top 8 movies para mas marami ang mapag-usapan kaysa ngayong top 4 pa lamang.
Bukod dito ay nag-iingat din ang nasabing ahensiya ng gobyerno dahil sa patuloy na pagtaas ng COVID-19 cases sa Metro Manila.
Anyway, para sa 48th year ng MMFF, ang tagline nila ay “Balik saya”. Dalawang taon ring hindi nagkaroon ng Metro Manila Film Festival na face-to-face dahil through online lang lahat.
Base sa release ng MMFF, “Ang Selection Committee headed by the multi-awarded and much respected leaders of the film industry Boots Anson-Roa Rodrigo and Jesse Ejercito as chair and vice chair respectively, chose the Top 4 scripts based on the following criteria : Artistic Excellence – 40%, Commercial Appeal – 40%, Filipino Cultural Sensibility – 10% and Global Appeal – 10%. “

“The deadline for the finished film submission (where the other 4 official MMFF entries shall be chosen) shall be on Sept 2 (for early birds submission) and Sept 30 (regular submission).
