Catriona Gray lumantad na, ibinandera ang pagiging Kakampink: There is power in a single vote

INILANTAD na rin ni Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray sa buong mundo ang tunay niyang “kulay” ngayong papalapit na nang papalapit araw ng eleksyon.

Ayon sa Pinay beauty queen, hangga’t maaari ay ayaw niya talagang makisawsaw o makisali sa mga political issues pero ngayong 2022 elections, mas pinili niya ang magpakatotoo para sa kapakanan ng Pilipinas.

Sa isang YouTube video, ibinandera ni Catriona ang pagsuporta niya sa kandidatura ni Leni Robredo para sa pagkapangulo at kay Sen. Kiko Pangilinan para sa pangalawang pangulo ng bansa.

In-upload ang announcement video ni Catriona ngayong araw, April 18, na may titulong “Pinuno: Para Sa Bayan”.

Pahayag ng girlfriend ni Sam Milby, “My vote for president goes to Leni Robredo. My vote for vice president goes to Kiko Pangilinan.”

“The pandemic was such a huge indicator of the capabilities of those in leadership. I believe that one of the most competent responses during the global pandemic was that of under the stewardship of her Office of the Vice President,” pahayag ni Catriona.

“I also personally align for she stands for—education, poverty reduction, women empowerment, amongst others,” dagdag pa niya.

Kasunod nito, inisa-isa ni Catriona ang mga katangian ng isang good leader, “Qualified (educational attainment and employment background); history (achievements and developments), service (how they work for our best interest and programs they pursued;  platform (plans and vision for our nation); and values (how the leader stood on issues).

Pagpapatuloy pa ng dalaga, “I usually shy away from politics. But politics should not be a conversation but a necessity for everyone.

“I didn’t want to just express a stance without an explanation, or without an effort to educate you. At the end of the day, I’ve always wanted to empower my audience to be a thinking one.

“But it’s my hope that by sharing who I’m voting for — after doing my own research and looking at those five qualities — it will serve as an invitation to learn more for yourselves and to hopefully further develop any stance you may already have,” magandang paliwanag pa ni Cat.
