Nadine Lustre confident sa katawan kahit tumaba: I'm keeping this body

“I used to have oversized jeans… now they [are] all fitted,” saad ni Nadine sa Twitter.

Dagdag pa niya, “I need a new set of clothes cuz (because) I’m keeping this bod (body).”

“You are still sexy and beautiful tho. It looks good on you,” comment ng isang netizen.

“Embracing your new figure, that’s what I love about you,” saad naman ng isa pang netizen.

“Okay lang yan. Pandemic weight gain is real because we have less mobility. Ang importante you are keeping safe and healthy.

“It’s not that I’m insecure about me gaining weight, or it’s not that I think I look bad because I’m gaining weight [because] I like my body now. It’s just that, how would, for example, a girl who’s younger like me and who’s not really confident and still figuring out herself reads that comment. How do you think she would feel?

“It’s not that I like proving a point. It’s just that, I like, in a way, answering so that people will stop doing this to others. I like shutting them down because I don’t want other people to feel na ‘Ah nababash siya. What if this happens to me?’ Even if it’s directed to me, i’m sure that does something to people who read those comments,” saad ni Nadine sa kanyang interview sa “Wake Up with Jim and Saab” podcast noong nakaraang taon.

“Let’s be honest, it’s not healthy. I’ve seen a lot of things on the internet that would make people feel insecure or think twice about themselves. It’s happened too many times even with my friends. ‘Yun lang I just wanna try to make a difference at least or change something,” dagdag pa niya.
