Maxene hindi masyadong OK noong holiday season: I thought…why not cry in Boracay

“Soul feeling low? Then you gots to go solo.”

“Silence and solitude are some of the best remedies for the soul especially when we are struggling with anxiety and depression,” ang simulang pahayag ni Maxene sa caption ng kanyang IG post.

Pag-amin pa niya sa pinagdaanang challenge sa buhay, “I used to run away from uncomfortable feelings and drown myself in alcohol hoping that they would dissipate on their own.

“I had to learn the hard way that negative emotions don’t just magically vanish. If we do not face and release them, they get buried in our chest and upper back which become stagnant energies that create blockages in our energy pathways.

“This is why no matter how much we try to change our thoughts, behavior and attitudes, our energy will keep us falling back to our old ways because the unhealthy patterns are still within,” pagpapatuloy pa ng anak ng yumaong Master Rapper na si Francis Magalona.

Diin pang mensahe ni Maxene, “This is where God steps in. By surrendering to the Divine and trusting that God will help you heal your soul, things will start falling into place and you will begin finding your own true, authentic alignment.

“Now that my trip has come to an end, I can say with God-fidence that booking this solo vacation was one of the best decisions I had ever made in my life. I used to come here to get wasted.

“Now, I came back to accept my past, practice being present and trust that God is in control of my future. Past and future are not even here. The only thing that matters is the present moment.

“Booking this trip as a gift to myself was definitely the best way I could honor my sad soul. I knew I wasn’t feeling my best during the holidays so instead of sulking at home, I thought—why not cry in Boracay and allow the ocean to absorb my tears?

“Why not run under the sun every morning to get some much-needed vitamin D? Why not meditate and breathe with God in nature so that I can feel with every fiber of my being that I am never alone because His perfect love sustains me?” sabi pa ng isa sa cast members ng Kapamilya drama series na “Viral Scandal.”

Sa huling bahagi ng kanyang IG post, may pakiusap lang ang aktres, “Please stop asking me why I am happy and peaceful despite experiencing personal struggles and start praying to God to bless you with the same kind of inner peace that He has been giving me ever since I surrendered myself to His divine plan. #meditatewithmaxene.”
