Takot ng mga Filipino sa COVID 19, ‘record high’ – SWS survey

MAS tumindi pa ang pangamba ng mga Filipino sa kasalukuyang pandemya dulot ng COVID-19, base sa Social Weather Station (SWS) survey.

Sa survey na isinagawa noong Setyembre 12 hanggang 16, kung kailan sumisirit ang COVID 19 cases sa bansa, umakyat sa 60 porsiyento ng 1,200 respondents ang naniniwala na titindi pa ang pandemya.

Ito ay mataas ng tatlong porsiyento sa naitalang ‘record high’ na 57 porsiyento noong Hulyo 2020.

Base pa rin sa huling survey, 91 porsiyento ang nangangamba na may tatamaan ng COVID-19 sa kanilang pamilya at siyam na porsiyento lamang ang konti ang pag-aalala.

Ang bilang ng mga nangangamba ay tumaas pa mula sa 87 porsiyento noong Hunyo 2021.

“The percentage of those fearing the ‘worst is yet to come’ with the COVID-19 crisis is always higher among those worried about catching COVID 19 than those not worried,” ayon sa SWS.
