“Ang pinakapatok so far ay yung episode ng Game Boys (stars) Elijah and Kokoy maybe because they were very generous, game sila, walang inhibitions sa kanilang pagparticipate sa games namin.

“Kasi they’re been guesting sa amin for 2 times already and fans are requesting na i-guest namin sila for the promo of their movie (Game Boys the Movie).

“These are artists na hindi pang Kumu. ‘Yun ang natutunan namin sa two seasons namin.

“We were able to identify artists na mayroon ding followings sa Kumu, the same in television.

“This is very new to me, ‘yung hosting,” mabilis na sagot ni MJ.  “Although I do onground hosting sa mga presscon, pero iba kasi when you’re doing hosting TV or live stream, iba kasi ‘yun.

“Ang challenge ro’n, you have talking and talking with sense for an hour or two di ba?

“Sa reporting (TV Patrol) naman is getting the subject to talk.  ‘Yun naman talaga (dapat) like the Nadine (Lustre) versus Viva, you have to get the hottest issue right now, you have to get the two sides of the story.

“‘Yun naman ang always challenge sa mga reporter to be fair and get the two sides so nagawa ko na ‘yun good segments in years,” paliwanag ng isa sa ipinagmamalaking showbiz reporter ng “TV Patrol.”

“Ako talaga tito Boy, talagang he was already there. Ako kasi parang sort of two paths I’m taking, hosting at the same time reporting.

“So, sa reporting naman ang idol ko siyempre the lolos of the lolos, Mario Dumaual is our lolo in the newsroom.

“Pag sinabi mo kasing Mario Dumaual, you know alam mo kaagad, top of the mind showbiz entertainment story. Gusto ko ganu’n din pero it’s not like overnight.

“So tito Boy, Mario Dumaual and Ogie Diaz, sila ‘yung I look up to,” kuwento ni MJ.

“Actually, number one talaga in my heart is storytelling as an entertainment reporter ‘yun talaga ‘yun. Before I was presented an option to be part of management ng ABS-CBN but hindi kasi ‘yun ang calling ko or gusto ko na masaya ako na ginagawa.

“So pinili ko talaga to be part of the news, that’s what I want. Day in day out to tell the stories of celebrities who inspire influence other people,” pagtatapat ni MJ.
