FDA nagbabala laban sa ilang produkto ng Colourette

Nagbabala ang Food and Drug Administration (FDA) sa publiko hinggil sa pagbili ng ilang produkto ng Colourette Cosmetics.

Sa pamamagitan ng post-marketing surveillance na isinagawa hanggang Enero 20, sinabi ng FDA na natuklasang walang Certificate of Product Notification ang mga nasabing produkto.

Kabilang dito ang mga sumusunod na produkto:
– Colourette Colourglaze Serotonin
– Colourette Colourglaze Blanket
– Colourette Colourglaze Daydream
– Colourette Colourglaze Sundown

Alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 9711 o Food and Drugs Administration Act of 2009, bawal ang paggawa, pag-angkat, eksportasyon, pagbebenta, distribusyon, paglilipat, non-consumer use, promosyon, advertising o sponsorship nang walang pahintulot  mula sa ahensya.

Sinabi ng FDA na hindi dumaan sa notification process ang produkto kung kaya hindi tiyak kung ligtas itong gamitin.

“All concerned establishments are warned not to distribute violative cosmetic products until they have fully complied with the rules and regulations of the FDA,” pahayag pa nito.

Paliwanag naman ng Founder/CEO ng Colourette na si Nina Ellaine Dizon-Cabrera, hinihintay na lamang nila ang verification bago mag-restock ng Colourglaze.

“The formula/ingredients do not have any problems, we just updated the nomenclature terms of the two of the ingredients as required by the evaluator,” pahayag nito.

Ang Colourette Cosmetics ay home-grown brand ng cosmetic products sa Pilipinas.

Maaaring i-report ang pagbebenta ng mga hindi rehistradong produkto sa pamamagitan ng eReport sa www.fda.gov.ph/ereport.
