FDA nagbabala laban sa ibinebentang cologne ni Toni Gonzaga

Nagbabala ang Food and Drug Administration (FDA) laban sa pagbili at paggamit ng cologne spray na ibinebenta ng kumpanya ng aktres na si Toni Gonzaga at vlogger na si Winnie Wong.

Ayon sa FDA, sa pamamagitan ng post-marketing surveillance, natuklasang walang balidong Certificate of Product Notification ang POUF! Everyday Bloom Cologne Spray.

Dahil dito, sinabi ng ahensya na hindi sila tiyak sa kalidad at kaligtasang paggamit nito.

Posible anilang magdulot ng health risks ang nasabing produkto sa mga consumer.

“Potential hazards may come from ingredients that are not allowed to be part of a cosmetic product or from the contamination of heavy metals,” saad sa abiso ng ahensya.

Kasunod nito, inabisuhan ang publiko na huwag bilhin ang naturang produkto.

Ugaliin anilang tignan kung mayroong notification mula sa FDA bago bumili ng mga produkto.

“All concerned establishments are warned not to distribute violate cosmetic product until they have fully complied with the rules and regulation of the FDA,” pahayag pa nito.

Pinasisiguro rin sa lahat ng FDA Regional Field Offices and Regulatory Enforcement Units, katuwang ang mga law enforcement agency at lokal na pamahalaan, na hindi maibebenta sa merkado ang produkto.

Maaaring i-report ang sinumang mahuling nagbebenta ng naturang cosmetic product sa pamamagitan ng eReport sa [email protected].
