Pagbibitiw sa pwesto ng matataas na opisyal ng PhilHealth welcome sa Malakanyang
Binati ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang si PhilHealth President Dante Gierran sa ginawa nitong hakbang upang pagbitiwin sa pwesto ang maraming matatas na opisyal ng ahensya.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, ipinatupad ni Gierran ang dati nang PhilHealth Board Resolution na binalewala lamang ni dating PhilHealth President Ricardo Morales.
Sa nasabing resolusyon, pinagsumite ng courtesy resignation lahat ng opisyal ng PhilHealth na may Salary Grade 26 pataas.
Sinabi ni Roque na ang hakbang na ito ni Gierran ay maituturing na tamang direksyon batay sa direktiba ni Pangulong Duterte na magpatupad ng reorganisasyon sa ahensya.
“We commend PhilHealth PCEO Gierran for his display of decisiveness. We consider this latest development in PhilHealth a step in the right direction as this is in line with President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s directive to reorganize the state health insurer, make erring officials accountable and give the agency a fresh start,” ayon kay Roque.
