Maxene, Gloc-9 inalala ang ika-56 kaarawan ni Francis M

KUNG nabubuhay pa ang Pinoy King of Rap na si Francis Magalona, 56 years old na sana siya ngayong araw, Oct. 4.

Maraming celebrities ang bumati kay Francis M sa kanyang kaarawan, kasama na nga riyan ang anak niyang aktres na si Maxene Magalona.

Sa kanyang Instagram page, nag-post si Maxene ng isang video kung saan ibinahagi niya ang hindi niya malilimutang bonding moment nilang mag-ama. Bukod pa ito sa ipinost niyang throwback photo ng ama.

“I have a lot of beautiful and wonderful memories with my Dad,” simulang pahayag ni Maxene sa kanyang IG post.

“But I guess one of my favorites would have to be when he would pick up from school, in college in Katipunan, and we would ride home together all the way to Antipolo.

“And I really cherished those moments because those were the times when he would ask me how I was and what’s happening in my life.

“You know he really took time to get to know us; to really ask us how we were.

“It was also in those car rides home when he would give me advice –advice that I really keep in my heart forever.

“We would listen to music together, some of his favorite songs or sometimes he would just suddenly start rapping out of nowhere!

“You know it was really those fun, candid moments that I really love and miss the most.

“He was just himself–no cameras, no microphones, no nothing. It was just our quiet time together. I really miss him,” lahad pa ng aktres.

Samantala, nagbahagi rin ang OPM icon at hip-hop artist na si Gloc-9 ng kanyang mensahe para sa kanyang idol.

“Ganyan lagi ang bati na ngiti mo Sir. Ako ay isang taga hanga mo…Happy Birthday Sir kiks! Maraming Maraming Salamat sa Lahat,” caption ni Gloc-9 sa ipinost niyang litrato ni Francis M.

Kung matatandaan, pumanaw ang OPM legend noong March 6, 2009. Ito’y matapos siyang ma-diagnose ng acute myeloid leukemia noong August, 2008.
