“This is particularly a serious concern for the construction and manufacturing industries such as electronics and automotives which work with minute parts and sensitive production lines,” wika nila.

“Please note that the situation in the workplace is not the same as on the streets, since office movements are controlled and guided by the safety and health protocols such as temperature checking, washing of hands and sanitizing footwear,” dagdag pa nila.

Pero ayon kay Vergeire, “Sinasabi na when you wear a mask, you can decrease the incidence or probability na ma-infect as much as 70 percent.”

“Pag sinamahan niyo pa ho ng face shield at sinamahan niyo pa ho ng physical distancing, you can prevent yourself from being infected by as much as 99 percent,” dagdag pa niya.

Ang mga grupong lumagda sa joint letter ay ang Philippine Silkroad International Chamber of Commerce, Employers Confederation of the Philippines, at Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc. Kasama ring pumirma si  George Barcelon, kasapi ng Legislative Executive Development Advisory Council.
