2 pusa positibo sa COVID-19

- April 23, 2020 - 08:13 AM

DALAWANG pusa sa New York ang mga kauna-unahang alagang hayop sa US na nagpositibo sa COVID-19, ayon sa mga opisyal.

Nakatira sa magkaibang lugar ang dalawang pusa sa New York state, ang epicenter ng COVID-19 sa Amerika, ayon sa Department of Agriculture at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

“Both had mild respiratory illness and are expected to make a full recovery,” anila.

“The virus may have been transmitted to this cat by mildly ill or asymptomatic household members or through contact with an infected person outside its home,” ayon sa dalawang ahensya.

“The cats should be kept indoors when possible to avoid them interacting with other animals or humans. Dogs should be kept on a leash while outside and should avoid busy areas such as dog parks,” ayon pa sa dalawang ahensya.
