Front act noon ni Sarah G may concert na rin
Newbie singer Daren Dyhengco will prove his vocal mettle in his first major concert , “Daren D. Live in Concert” at the Music Museum on Dec. 4.
Daren graduated from Capilano University’s Musical Theatre program in North Vancouver, Canada. Siya ang front act ni Sarah Geronimo when she did a concert sa Canada months ago.
“Sa Canada, may agent ako for film and TV sa acting side,” he said.
“’Yung lola ko lang ang actually singer sa amin. Ever since bata kasi, ‘yung mom ko musically inclined na siya like she would let us listen to musicales like The Sound of Music and lagi niyang pinapakinggan sina Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand,” chika ni Daren.
The concert will showcase Daren’s versatility as a performer. “In terms of dance, I think I am intermediate. I am not a beginner pero hindi rin naman ako advance. Kaya naman,” he mused, adding that he’ll have a number with the G-Force.
An accomplished singer, Daren has competed in various singing competitions in the United States of America. He placed 3rd when he entered a singing competition in Los Angeles, California and was in the top 10 in Orlando, Florida. Aside from being a singer, Daren is also an actor back in Vancouver, Canada.
