Yeng negang-nega: Naaksidente na ang asawa, nakapag-vlog pa

YENG CONSTANTINO

When singer Yeng Constantino ranted on social media against a hospital and a doctor after her husband figured in an accident, not a few were disappointed.

Netizens were infuriated more dahil nakuha pang mag-vlog ni Yeng  about the whole incident. Marami ang naloka dahil sa gitna ng sakuna ay may time pang mag-vlog ang singer.

Marami rin ang nagtanggol sa doctor na pinangalanan ni Yeng sa kanyang social media aria. In a website, may mga bumatikos kay Yeng.

“Sorry to hear this. I feel you Yeng Constantino. This is an eye-opener for the government. I fervently hope and pray for the immediate recovery of your husband.

“On the other hand, posting the picture of the doctor and saying below the belt comments on social media is quite degrading. If you have [a] complaint, air it out formally to the authorities.

“Sorry to tell you, this only clearly speaks your kind … RESPECT is the other issue here … even just a little for the individuals whom many consider the unsung heroes; the DOCTORS themselves who devote their lives for the welfare and wellness of all,” say ni Gemma Ocon.

One @ArjoDC, a doctor, wailed, “Been reading on the Yeng Constantino issue on FB and Twitter. Doctors can only do so much in an equipment-limited hospital. We don’t do miracles.

“To everyone, STOP doctor-shaming! We were trained to remain calm in emergency situations so please don’t expect us to panic with you.”

There are two things that we learned from this issue.  One is don’t doctor-shame. Two, don’t go to a tourist destination where obviously there is not enough medical care.
