Kongresista na nanuntok hindi kukunsintihin

HINDI umano kukunsintihin ng Ang Probinsyano Partylist ang napaulat na panununtok ng isang representante nito sa isang waiter.

Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ng spokesman ng Ang Probinsyano na si Atty. Joco Sabio na nagsasagawa ito ng masusing imbestigasyon sa panununtok umano ni Rep. Alfred delos Santos sa isang inuman sa Legazpi City noong Hulyo 7.

Ayon sa kuha ng CCTV, hindi tumama ang suntok ni delos Santos kay Christian Kent Alejo, 20.

“Definitely we will not tolerate any kind of abuse in our party. We will not hesitate to suspend or even remove Congressman Delos Santos if we establish that this was an unprovoked attack,” ani Sabio.

Sinabi ni Sabio na kanilang hihingin ang panig ni delos Santos upang makapagdesisyon ng parehas ang partido.

“Just like everyone else, the party is concerned and really disappointed with what happened. We are not taking this sitting down and we are taking all the necessary steps to make sure that this will not happen again in the future,” dagdag pa nito. “Despite all the flak that our party is getting because of this incident, we will still accord Rep. Delos Santos the right to due process.”

Iginiit rin ni Sabio na bagamat kinatawan ng partylist si delos Santos hindi ito ang buong representasyon ng Ang Probinsyano partylist.

“His actions and his decisions are his own and should not reflect on Ang Probinsyano as a party and as an organization.”
