Rep. Crisologo nakalabas na ng kulungan

NAKALABAS na ng kulungan si Quezon City Rep. Vicente Crisologo matapos ang inquest proceedings matapos umanong tangkaing pigilan ang mga pulis sa pag-aresto sa mga inaakusahan ng vote buying.

Pinalabas ng Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office si Crisologo kanyang anak na si Frederick William Crisologo at 21 isa pa na naaresto noong Linggo sa Brgy. Bahay Toro.

“In this case, a scrutiny of the Joint Affidavit of Arrest, as well as the pieces of evidence presented, failed to justify the in flagrante delicto arrest of the respondents,” saad ng resolusyon ng piskal.

Hindi umano naging malinaw ang alegasyon na nagbibilihan o nagbebentahan ng boto sa lugar.

“As to the complaint for Obstruction of Justice, Unjust Vexation, Direct Assault, Grave Coercion, Resistance and Disobedience, Usurpation and Illegal Detention, the circumstances surrounding the incident and the exact participation of each of the respondents have to be threshed out more thoroughly in a full blown preliminary investigation.”

Si Crisologo, tumatakbo sa pagka-alkalde ng Quezon City, ay tumatakbo sa pagka-alkalde ng siyudad.

Siya ay pumunta sa Heroes Hill upang bumoto.

Ayon kay Crisologo naghahanda lamang ang kanyang mga taga-suporta para sa gagawing pagbabantay sa halalan at walang bilihan ng bote na nagaganap. Iligal din umano ang operasyon ng pulisya dahil walang search warrant ang mga pulis.
