Celine Dion sa sakit na Stiff Person Syndrome: We’ll find a miracle
PARA sa lahat ng Pinoy fans ng Canadian superstar na si Celine Dion, huwag na raw kayong masyadong mag-alala dahil medyo okay-okay na siya ngayon.
December, 2022 nang ibalita ni Celine na na-diagnose siya ng Stiff Person Syndrome, kung saan nagkakaroon ng “stiff muscles in the torso, arms and legs, with noise or emotional distress known to trigger spasms” ang taong meron nito.
Sa panayam ng Vogue France kung saan ang 57 years old international singer ang cover for May edition, “I am well, but taking life one day at a time.” At kailangan daw niyang karirin ang kinakailangang gamutan.

“Five days a week I undergo athletic, physical and vocal therapy. I haven’t beat the disease, as it’s still within me and always will be.
“I hope that we’ll find a miracle, a way to cure it with scientific research, but for now I have to learn to live with it,” sey ni Celine.

May last year, nang mapilitang ikansela ang mga concert ni Celine na naka-schedule for 2023 and 2024. Hindi raw talaga kaya ng powers niya ang kumpletuhin ang kanyang tour.
Nang tanungin kung keribels na niya ang bumalik sa concert stage, hindi pa raw niya ito masasagot sa ngayon, “I don’t know…my body will tell me.”
Matatandaang huling napanood ng publiko si Celine nitong nagdaang February sa kanyang surprise appearance sa Grammy Awards kung saan siya ang nag-present ng Album of the Year kay Taylor Swift.
