ISINAILALIM sa yellow at red alert ng National Grid Corporation of the Philippines ang Luzon Grid bunsod ng manipis na reserba ng kuryente.
Kaugnay nito ay pinayuhan ng NGCP ang mga taga-Luzon na magtipid sa paggamit ng kuryente.
Ayon sa NGCP, ang yellow alert ay epektibo ng ala-10 ng umaga hanggang alas-12 ng tanghali. Habang sa hapon ay ala-1 at alas-5 at sunod ay alas-7 hanggang alas-9 ng gabi.
Ang red alert naman ay alas-11 ng umaga, sunod ay alas-2 hanggang alas-4 ng hapon.
Wala namang ibinigay na paliwanag ang NGCP kung bakit inilagay sa yellow at red alert ang Luzon Grid kahapon.—
