Jane, McCoy, JC nakakabaliw ang ganap sa ‘Project Feb 14’

WATCHED Dreamscape Digital’s Project Feb. 14, a digital film for iWant TV directed by Jason Paul Laxamana and starring McCoy de Leon, Jane Oineza and JC Santos.

The mini digital series is very disturbing as it tackles mental health issues.

McCoy is Brix, a young guy obsessed to play aswang while Jane is Annie, a cybersex player. Together, the plot their death so as to hurt their parents. JC is a documentarist who offered his services to document the event until it happens on Feb. 14.

Everyone in the major cast and even in the supporting cast is deranged. They each all have looming lunacies inside of them which is what the movie centers on.

Jane gave her best performance as a revengeful daughter who envied her special child sibling. She filled up the screen with a fiery performance that she has never shown in any of her outings. Her role is so markado that you will remember her through and through.

As Brix, McCoy gave his character so much depth that easily erases his cute-boy demeanor. Sobrang galing niya bilang isang guy na may matinding obsession sa aswang. Why, he even put fangs whenever he makes love with Jane’s character. His angst-filled portrayal left an indelible ink which will be forever remembered. Mahirap na siyang makakuha ng character na ganito ka-intense.

Playing Cody, JC had so much emotional attachment to his character. His switch of emotion in some of his scenes speaks volumes of his versatility. His confrontation scene with McCoy is something that will leave a lasting imprint.

In totality, Project Feb. 14 is very edgy, revolting and riveting film. It affects you at the very core of your humanity. Director Jason Paul did a splendid job. See it as it opens on Feb. 16 on iWant TV.
