Ronnie Carrasco III - August 30, 2018 - 12:35 AM

IF REPORTS are true, gusto na naming maniwala sa indispensability—idagdag pa ang seeming untouchability—ni Mocha Uson as if her absence will leave a vacuum under the present administration.

Alam ng lahat na ang pagkakatalaga ni Mocha sa puwesto—una sa MTRCB—was the result of her campaign efforts in support of her presidential bet.

Marunong lang tumanaw ng utang na loob si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa mga nagawa ng kanyang mga tagasuporta on his road to victory.

Nawala si Mocha sa MTRCB pero sinalo siya ng PCOO this time with a higher position vis a vis a higher pay. Ito ay sa kabila ng nagkakaisang opinyon that she’s far from being qualified.

Then there’s the public outcry na magbitiw na siya sa puwesto, led by her very co-workers—all nine of them.

Habang isinusulat namin ang kolum na ito, Mocha has not taken to her blog her response to her co-workers’ collective appeal.

Katwiran niya, whatever she vents out should not be confused with her official duties as PCOO ASec. Private domain daw ang kanyang blog where she merely exercises her freedom of expression.

Dahil sa siyam na mga katrabaho niya who want her out of the agency, mukhang hindi mabubunutan ng tinik ang mga nagbubunyi rito. Balita kasing itatalaga si Mocha sa DOLE.

No, hindi sa food processing company ng mga pinya dahil sa pagmamaasim niya, but the labor and employment department.

Anuman ang patunay na may ipagmamalaking credentials si Mocha to fit in her third likely job is the same as her previous posts. Wala rin naman.

But it sends a baffling signal kung gaano katibay tulad ng konkretong pader ang isang Mocha Uson sa ilalim ng Duterte administration.

Dahil kung hindi man siya “itapon” sa DOLE, chances are, some other department, bureau, agency or commission will take her in—willingly or otherwise.

And what’s possibly next?

Bukod sa kawalan ng kuwalipikasyon, Mocha needs to address her attitude. Kung may kapiranggot siyang nalalaman tungkol sa human resources, credentials are not enough.

Did she ever work at an office?

Mocha’s world then—kung hindi kami nagkakamali—was confined in leading a small group of live entertainers.

Mas nagpraktis pa siya ng pagsasayaw, pagliyad-liyad at paggiling-giling to the sheer delight of her male audience.

Ergo, her lack of interpersonal experience is the culprit.

DOLE ba ‘ika mo? Kahit ikutan pa ni Mocha ang lahat ng departamento at ahensiya sa pamahalaan down to the littlest office like a hole in the wall, the scenario won’t likely change.

Hahaba lang ang kanyang resume under her employment history, pero kumustahin mo naman kung gaano lang kakaiksi ang itinagal niya sa trabaho.

It doesn’t speak well of the applicant.
