Nakakalimutan natin na may camera men, may staff, may audiomen, may continuity director, may assistant director. It’s hot, mainit, madumi. It takes a lot to prepare for (a love scene).

I respect my directors for mounting scenes like these na hindi lalabas na cheap, hindi lalabas na pangit, hindi lalabas na out of context.

“The hardest love scene na magagawa mo is ‘yung wala sa lugar. That is most difficult because when you want to make love with someone kailangan ma-excite muna ito, eh (motioning his head). So, if you actually have something in your head, na parang ‘uy, ito ang konteksto ng pagmamahalan namin,’ then it would be easy. Sa amin ni Yam (Concepcion), we didn’t have a problem.
