Plunder vs Revilla matibay kahit wala si Sula- Morales

HINDI umano humina ang kasong plunder laban kay dating Sen. Ramon Bong Revilla Jr., sa pagbawi ng pahayag ni testigong si Marina Sula.

Ayon kay Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales matibay ang kaso laban kay Revilla kahit na wala ang testimonya ni Sula.

“Pagbabago? ‘Yung testimony niya balewala lang ‘yan. In the sense that independently of her testimony now, the evidence against Revilla is very strong… documentary and testimonial and all that,” ani Morales.

Sinabi ni Morales na mali umano ang mga naniniwala na napahina ng mga pahayag ni Sula ang kaso.

“So kahit itabi mo pa, if they believe that her testimony dented the evidence for the prosecution, they are wrong.”
Dagdag pa ni Morales maaaring mawala ang immunity laban kay Sula sa kanyang mga pahayag.

“If she veered away from her affidavit by claiming this and that, then she can be indicted because one of the conditions for her to be given immunity from prosecution is for her to heed and see to it that her affidavit is what she is going to maintain in court,” ani Morales.

Sinabi ni Sula na kinausap siya ng prosekusyon upang pagtibayin ang mga sinabi ng whistleblower na si Benhur Luy.

Sa pagdinig, itinanggi ni Sula na nakausap niya si Revilla kaugnay ng paglalagay ng kanyang pork barrel fund sa bogus non government organization ni Janet Lim Napoles. Si Sula ay dating empleyado ng JLN Corp.

Sinabi ni Sula na si Luy ang nasa likod ng pagpeke ng pirma ni Revilla para iendorso ang bogus na NGO.

Si Revilla ay inakusahan na tumanggap ng P224 milyong kickback mula kay Napoles.
