IPINAG-UTOS ng Senate committee on banks, financial institutions and currencies ang pag-aresto kay dating Commission on Elections (Comelec) chair Andres “Andy” Bautista matapos siyang i-cite in contempt dahil sa kabiguang muling dumalo sa pagdinig ng Senado

Nag-mosyon si Sen. Francis Escudero, chair ng komite na ipaaaresto na si Bautista matapos isnabin ang pagdinig sa ika-apat na pagkakataon.

Idinagdag ni Escudero na ipaaaresto niya si Bautista sa kanyang pagbabalik sa bansa.
