MRT nasiraan ulit, full system audit inihirit

Muling nasira ang tren ng Metro Rail Transit 3 ngayong araw.
Alas-11:26 ng umaga ng masari ang tren na patungo sa direksyon ng south bound. Pinababa ang mga pasahero sa Cubao station.
Samantala, nanawagan si PBA Rep. Koko Nograles sa Department of Transportation na magsagawa ng full systems audit bago kumuha ng bagong maintenance service provider ng MRT.
Sinabi ni Nograles na makabubuti kung malaman muna kung ano ang mga problema ng MRT bago kumuha ng papalit sa Busan Universal Rail Inc.
“The DOTr should conduct a full system audit first! Hindi ko alam bakit inuuna ni Sec Tugade ang paghahanap ng kontratista kung di pa nila alam gaano kabigat ang problema ng MRT3,” ani Nograles.
Si Nograles ang isa sa mga nagsiwalat ng anomalya kaugnay ng maanomalyang kontrata ng BURI.
“If the Government will not conduct a system audit and just award a Contractor, the sins of all previous contractors will be whitewashed,” dagdag pa ng solon. “Sa lahat ng takeover, ang pinakaunang dapat gawin ay Audit. Kung walang audit, di natin alam sino ang may kasalanan ng mga defects at missing parts. That is simple due diligence that the Government must execute. That is just common sense.”
Isa sa ipinasusuri ni Nograles ang pagpapalit ng Bombardier Vehicle Logic Units sa 72 sa 73 tren. Ang VLU ang itinuturing na utak ng tren. Pinalitan naman umano ng mga hindi rekomendadong piyesa ang ilang bahagi ng tren.
