‘Taong-grasa experiment’ ni Maine sa EB nagsilbing eye-opener

WE WERE crushed to learn that Maine Mendoza’s taong grasa impersonation had merited pang-iisnab from the affluent few.
Maine narrated that she walked from Baclaran to the CCP area, all dressed up as taong grasa as part of a social experiment.
She narrated that she knocked on some cars’ door to ask for alms but inisnab siya ng mayamang pasahero nito. It did not happen only once but many times.
It was amazing that members of the HOI POLLOI were not selfish and gave her help. One lumpia vendor gave her two lumpias. One taho vendor gave her taho and one mani vendor gave her 5 pesos.
So, what did the social experiment achieve? It showed that the moneyed few are SELFISH. Mas mabuti pa ‘yung kapos sa pera marunong silang mag-share.
Ganyan naman talaga sa atin. Members of the higher echelon of society are SNUBBISH and SELFISH. Ipinakita sa social experiment kung anong uri ng Pinoy meron ang mga tao na nabibilang sa AFFLUENT FEW.
