HUGAS kamay ang Palasyo matapos sabihin ni Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. na si Pangulong Aquino ang nasa likod ng paghahain ng plunder laban sa kanya sa Office of the Ombudsman matapos isangkot sa pork barrel scam.
Iginiit ni Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) head Secretary Herminio “Sonny” Coloma na walang kinalaman si Aquino sa plunder na isinampa kay Marcos.
“Contrary to the claims of Sen. Marcos, Government has no involvement in the reported case for plunder filed against him by an anti-corruption group,” sabi ni Coloma.
Tahasang inakusahan ni Marcos si Aquino na siyang nasa likod ng plunder laban sa kanya bilang bahagi umano ng “selective justice” ng administrasyon.
“If the good Senator strongly believes that he has nothing to do with the charges levelled against him, it is best that he respond in the proper forum,” giit ni Coloma.
Sinampahan si Marcos ng plunder matapos idawit sa anomalya sa paggamit ng pork barrel kasama ang tinaguriang reyna ng scam na si Janet Lim-Napoles.
