Iginawad kay Gary ang kanyang honorary doctorate degree mula sa Baptist Bible College Asia (BBCA) “for his exemplary public Christian testimony and his incredible contributions to the gospel effort in the Philippines.”
Sa kanyang social media account, ipinost ni Angeli ang litrato ni Gary habang tinatanggap ang kanyang degree na ginanap sa Ynares Gym sa Pasig City.
