Were Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez displaced by Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards?

We’re asking this because there are reports that Carla and Tom were the original love team to be featured in a Metro Manila Film Festival movie starring Vic Sotto and Ai Ai Something.

Apparently, the producers are cashing in on Yaya and Alden’s popularity so they eliminated Carla and Tom pronto. Naku, baka ma-hurt nang husto ang fans nina Carla and Tom if they learn na natsugi ang idols nila because of this AlDub.
