Sugar Mercado wagi sa SC

Leifbilly Begas - June 19, 2018 - 03:55 PM

“This marks a significant victory not only for Sugar but for the #LabananAngAbuso campaign and for other victims of violence against women and their children. This is a message of hope to women facing various forms of violence from their partners – that we can successfully secure legal remedies by partaking in the broad fight to end all forms of violence against women,” saad ng pahayag ng dalawa.

“A positive resolution of Sugar’s petition will inure not only to her benefit but for the benefit of battered women all over the country who are similarly situated. We also hope that this development will be an added push in the conduct of anti-VAWC law reviews in various levels with different partners.”
