Sarah, Yeng, Darren big winners sa 28th Awit Awards
SARAH GERONIMO AT YENG CONSTANTINO
BIG winners ang mga Kapamilya stars na sina Sarah Geronimo at Yeng Constantino sa nakaraang 28th Awit Awards na ginanap na Music Museum nitong Miyerkules.
Naiuwi ng Pinay Pop Queen ang Album of the Year award para sa kanyang “Perfectly Imperfect,” habang wagi naman si Yeng ng Song of the Year para sa kanyang awiting “Ikaw.”
Dalawa naman ang napanalunang awards ni Darren Espanto, ang Best Album Package at Best Performance by a New Male Recording Artist.
Ang iba pang nanalong Filipino artists ay ang rock band na Pupil para sa Music Video of the Year, Abra for Best Rap Recording, at sina Kyla at Jungee Marcelo for their single “Salbabida.”
Wagi namang Best Performance by a Female Recording Artist si Janice Javier para sa “Never Knew Love (Until I Met You)” at Best Performance by a Male Recording Artist naman si Johnoy Danao for his “Buntong Hininga.”
Best Performance by a New Female Recording Artist si Kiana Valenciano para sa “Dear Heart”; Best Performance by a Child/Children, “Narito Ako” (Lyca Gairanod); Best Selling Album of the Year Award, “Deeper” ni Julie Anne San Jose; at Best Ballad Recording, “Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako” ni KZ Tandingan.
