SC nagpalabas ng TRO sa pagpapatayo ng Torre de Manila

NAGPALABAS ang Korte Suprema ng temporary restraining order (TRO) kaugnay itinatayong 46-na palapag na Torre de Manila.
Sa botong 8-5, inatasan ng Kataastaasang Hukuman ang DMCI Project Developers Inc. na itigil muna ang konstruksyon ng Torre de Manila condominium project.
Kabilang sa mga bumoto para sa TRO ay sina Associate Justices Presbitero Velasco, Arturo Brion, Teresita Leonardo de Castro, Lucas Bersamin, Martin Villarama, Jose Mendoza, Estela Perlas Bernabe at Francis Jardeleza.
Samantala, hindi naman pabor sina Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno, Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio, Associate Justices Mariano Del Castillo, Jose Perez at Bienvenido Reyes na magpalabas ng TRO hanggang hindi naisasagawa ang oral argument kaugnay ng petisyong inihain ng Knights of Rizal.
Itinakda ang oral argument sa Hunyo 30.
Sinabi ng Knight of Rizal na nagsisilbing photo bomber ang Torre de Manila sa Monumento ni Rizal sa Luneta.
