DECISION 2013 — KOKO PIMENTEL: Mga laban ni Koko

- July 25, 2012 - 08:00 AM

Reproductive Healh Bill:   I’m against. I can’t, in conscience,  allow the expenditures — tax payers money or money raised from the people to the tune of P2.5 billion a year, na ipambibili lang ng condoms, injectibles, pills and IUDs. Doon ako sa isyu pa ng budget, not on the moral issue. Ayokong pasukan ‘yung moral or theological basis.

Freedom of Information Bill:  Anything and everything which should promote transparency I would support. I will support anything which will inform the people.

K to 12 basic education: Diyan ako medyo undecided pa kasi initially sabi ko  shouldn’t we first conduct a time and motion study of how  we spend the current /years system in school.  Baka it will be just a waste of time.Contractualization of workers: Ako, against. Theoretically I’m against contractualization. Sa probationary period, the standard is really subjective sa employer.

Divorce: Inspite of what happened to me I’m still not in favor of divorce. I’m playing with the idea kung merong Philippine-style na divorce. As of now I’m still against the American concept ng divorce.

It’s not against the law for them to be together, why extend the concept of marriage to them nasisira ang concept of marriage? If two (man) live together criminal ba ‘yon? Sa pagkakaalam ko hindi, let it be.

Anti-epal bill: Dapat wala, dapat simple words lang na built by the taxes of the people.

Political Dynasty:   Theoretically, maganda siya pero very very hard to implement or even  to crop the law.

Mindanao:  Neglected talaga siya.  Taxation ang iniisip namin sa local govt code kasi Makati and businesses with plantation in Mindanao earned from plantation paid for the headquarters where they located. Income ninyo dito ninyo na-generate so anong balik sa amin sa Mindanao?

Mining:  I’m leaning towards against it because maraming reklamo, like the care and concern of the mining company is not there kasi hit-and-run.

Legalization ng Jueteng: Hindi ko maintindihan (sa Mindanao masiao) legalization of jueteng is just an academic discussion. Kunyari may law na tayo that jueteng is legal now, anong motivation nila to register and be legal ngayon nga hindi sila nahuhuli.

GMA: A sad chapter in Philippine  governance

Noynoy: Tuwid na lider

CJ Corona:   Let him enjoy life in the private sector

Pacman:  He still my champion

Erap:  My idol and my well respected ninong, whatever happens…

Binay: My friend, my mentor, my idol, I hope the next president of the Philippines
