“The President has much respect for Mar and certainly, Mar has much respect for the President,”  ayon kay Abad.

“We heard it from him (President Aquino) repeatedly. There is no reason to doubt that Mar Roxas is still his candidate.”

“It is true that the numbers do not favor Mar. But with 15 months [to go], those numbers can change. The President discovered that himself when he decided [to run] with only eight months to go,” dagdag pa ni Abad.
