P100-M ang ginastos sa engrandeng kasal nina Marian at Dingdong
“OVER 100 milliion peso cost of #DongYanWedding shouldered by GMA Network as publicity investment!”
That was the very screaming headline of one website, which really shocked us. If the article is reliable enough, pinalalabas nito na ang GMA 7 ang gumastos sa ostentatious wedding nina Marian Rivera at Dingdong Dantes.
“I was correct with my gut feelings. My friendly butiki, who listens to everything inside the executive offices of GMA7, confirmed that it was the network that paid for everything (repeat, everything) in the so called ‘royal wedding’.
“It was over Php100m on the wedding day alone, not including other expenses in the pre-nuptial activities. This is an eye-popping amount if it is just a wedding expense (as I am one of those who think that a 20m wedding is already stupid and insensitive in a Third World setting, even if one could afford a 500m one).
“Over 100m, however, is a justifiable amount, even cheap vis-a-vis the ROI, if it is accounted as marketing and advertising expense of a large corporation that regularly spends much more anyway in their ads and promos,” the article said.
Gano’n? Eh, saan naman nanggaling ang chikang P30 million ang ginastos ni Dingdong for the wedding? At meron ding statement ang wedding coordinator ng wedding na si Dingdong ang siyang gumastos sa kasal nila ni Marian.
We will NEVER believe that the wedding costs P100 million to mount. That’s ABSURD, IDIOTIC and UNBELIEVABLE!
And we will also never believe that GMA network shouldered everything in the wedding.
Why would they do that? It’s not sufficed that Marian and Dingdong are their stars. While it is true that the couple is the biggest there is sa Kapuso network, hindi na naman sila ganoon kasikat at it’s kinda stupid to even mount a wedding that’s worth P100 million.
