Metro Manila, Bulacan pepestehin ng brownout

ILANG lugar sa Metro Manila at ilang bahagi ng Bulacan ang makararanas ng isang oras na rotating brownout dahil na rin sa kakulangan ng suplay ng kuryente sa bansa.

Sa isang text message, sinabi ni Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) head Secretary Herminio “Sonny” Coloma na batay sa ulat ni Energy Secretary Carlos Jericho Petilla ay aabot sa dalawang porsyento ng mga kostumer o 84,000 ang maaapektuhan ng sinasabing rotating brownout.

“Sec Petilla, initial estimate at least one hour but we see 288MW (megawatt) shortfall till 1,600 (MW),” sabi ni Coloma.

Idinagdag ni Coloma na aabot sa 78,000 residente ang apektado, samantalang 5,690 ang commercial at 169 ang industrial ang apektado ng power interruption.

“Areas affected are Sampaloc, Sta. Cruz, Caloocan, Malabon,  Navotas, Marilao, Meycauayan, San Jose del Monte,” dagdag pa ni Coloma.
