Ang karera, na itatakbo sa race 4, ay isinagawa sa tulong ng Philippine Racing Club Inc. at idinadaos kasabay ng pagdiriwang sa ikasampung taon ng Bandera sa pangangasiwa ng Inquirer Publications Inc. Ang mga benepisaryo ng pakarerang ito ay ang Inquirer Newsboy Foundation at Bandera Lapis at Papel campaign.
