Star Magic School for the Creative & Performing Arts umariba na
ISANG napakalaking hakbang ang isinakatuparan ng Star Magic nitong March 26, 2025, para sa entertainment industry sa Pilipinas.
Ito’y ang launching ng Star Magic School for the Creative & Performing Arts (SMSCPA), na dating Star Magic Workshop, sa pamamagitan ng isang media conference.
Ginanap ito sa ABS-CBN Studio 3, kung saan nagtipon ang mga industry experts, media personalities, at aspiring artists na gustong simulan ang kanilang creative journey.
Kilala ang Star Magic bilang premier talent management at training hub sa bansa. Nag-evolve rin ito bilang isang mas malawak na institusyon na huhubog sa mga performers sa iba’t ibang larangan.
Expanded ang workshop curriculum na mula sa acting, singing, dancing, directing, at character building, kasama na ang master classes mula sa mga respetadong mentors sa industriya.

Dumalo sa event sina Direk Laurenti Dyogi, Head of ABS-CBN TV Production, at Mr. Raymund Dizon, Business Unit Head ng Star Magic at ABS-CBN.
Kasama rin ang iba pang mentors tulad nina Mr. HB Benitez III (Star Magic SCPA Kids Acting Coach), Teacher Alecx Lorica at Teacher Marcel David (Meisner Acting para sa teens at adults), Meann Espinosa (SCPA Theater Acting Coach), Direk Jon Moll (ABS-CBN TV Director), at sina Mr. Kirby Balagtas, Mr. Dale Recina, at Mr. Troi Bautista mula sa You Me Us MNL.
Present din ang voice mentors na sina Teacher Julie Anne Reyes, at BGYO at BINI Coaches Anna Graham at Jerwin Nicomedes, pati na rin ang head choreographers ng BINI at BGYO na sina Coach Mickey Perz, Coach Reden Blanquera, Coach Matthew Almodovar, Coach Aennon Tabungar, at Coach Josh Junio.
Nagbigay ng performances sina Talia Concio at BGYO na produkto rin ng Star Magic Workshops.
Nagbahagi rin ng kanilang experiences sina Kai Montinola at Jasmine Scales, dating Pinoy Big Brother housemates, kung paano binago ng Star Magic Workshops ang kanilang artistic development.
Sa tanong kung paano nananatiling relevant at impactful ang Star Magic talents, ang sagot ni Raymund Dizon, “That’s the advantage of having subject matter experts in the school, because they have different point of views na nai-instill sa ating mga star dreamers to keep them relevant.”
Sabi rin ni Coach Mickey Perz, “In social media, a lot of people have talent, but talent will always bring you to a certain level; now how do you nurture that? That’s when you put skill into it.”
Dagdag pa niya, “The way you will nurture your talent is to get the right equipment… so you can always move on to what is current. You have to understand if you want to evolve, you have to humble yourself enough na you have to work hard for what you want to get.”
Ayon kay Teacher HB Benitez, “Acting is more than just memorizing and reciting lines; acting is about truth; it’s about exploring the complexities of the character and delving into the depths of the human experience and illuminating the truths that connect us all, that’s why we, at SMSCPA have expanded and have added more acting courses.”
Para naman kay Coach Julie Anne na “Dito rin nanggaling si Sofronio Vasquez, our champ for The Voice Season 26 US, he was with us sa Star Magic workshops for 5 consecutive classes, from basic to master class.”
Sa mga graduates ng Star Magic Workshops, ibinahagi ni Coach HB Benitez ang ilan sa mga pinaka-memorable at ipinagmamalaki nila, “Yung mga nanggaling sa workshop na talagang ipinagmalalaki namin, yung talagang nag-excel sila sa napili nilang field.
“Sa acting it would be the likes of Joshua Garcia, Arjo Atayde, Alora Sasam for comedy, Dimples Romana, actually ang dami nilang nag-start sa workshop, foundation muna nila yung training bago sila sumikat.”
Ipinakilala rin ng mga mentors ang iba’t ibang courses ng SMSCPA, kabilang ang Meisner Core Program para sa acting, Popshop Workshop para sa singing at dancing, at Voice Workshop para sa pagpapahusay ng vocal skills.
Magbubukas na ang onsite enrollment ngayong March 29-30, 2025, at magpapatuloy sa April 5-6, 2025, na may limited slots lamang.
