‘Nika’ magiging typhoon bago tumama sa Isabela o Aurora; NCR nasa signal no. 1

MULA sa “Severe Tropical,” magiging isang “Typhoon” ang bagyong Nika anumang oras ngayong araw, November 10.

Ayon sa 2 p.m. weather report ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), ito ay inaasahang magla-landfall sa Isabela o Aurora bukas, November 11.

Ang bagyo ay kasalukuyang nasa layong 425 kilometers silangan ng Infanta, Quezon.

Taglay nito ang lakas na hanging 110 kilometers per hour malapit sa gitna at bugsong aabot sa 135 kilometers per hour.

Ang kilos nito ay nasa bilis na 30 kilometers per hour papunta sa kanluran.

Dahil patuloy na lumalakas ang bagyo, itinaas na sa Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 ang ilang bahagi ng Luzon.

Kabilang na riyan ang northern and central portions of Aurora (Dilasag, Casiguran, Dinalungan, Dipaculao, Maria Aurora, Baler), Isabela, Quirino, southern portion ng Cagayan (Solana, Iguig, Peñablanca, Tuguegarao City, Enrile), Nueva Vizcaya, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, eastern portion ng Benguet (Mankayan, Buguias, Kabayan, Itogon, Bokod, Atok), northern portion of Nueva Ecija (Carranglan, Pantabangan) at northeastern portion ng Pangasinan (San Nicolas, Natividad, San Quintin).

Nasa Signal No. 1 naman ang Metro Manila, Rizal, nalalabing bahagi ng Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Apayao, Abra, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, eastern and the rest of Pangasinan, La Union, the rest of Benguet, the rest of Aurora, Tarlac, northern and central portions of Zambales (Santa Cruz, Candelaria, Masinloc, Palauig, Iba, Botolan, Cabangan, San Marcelino, San Felipe, San Narciso), the rest of Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bulacan, eastern portion of Laguna (Santa Maria, Mabitac, Pakil, Pangil, Famy, Siniloan, Paete, Kalayaan, Cavinti, Lumban, Luisiana, Santa Cruz, Magdalena, Pagsanjan, Majayjay, Liliw, Nagcarlan, Pila, Victoria), eastern portion of Quezon (Calauag, Guinayangan, Tagkawayan, Pitogo, San Andres, Buenavista, San Francisco, Pagbilao, Infanta, Lopez, Catanauan, Mulanay, Unisan, General Luna, Plaridel, Quezon, Alabat, Sampaloc, Padre Burgos, Macalelon, Mauban, Perez, Agdangan, Gumaca, Atimonan, Real, San Narciso, General Nakar, Lucban, City of Tayabas, Lucena City) including Polillo Islands, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, at Albay (Malinao, Tiwi, Bacacay, City of Tabaco, Malilipot, Rapu-Rapu).
