Vico susubok sa huling termino ng pagka-mayor; Bossing, Connie todo suporta

PORMAL nang nagsumite ng certificate of candidacy si incumbent Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto para sa huling termino ng kanyang posisyon.
Ang running mate niya sa 2025 midterm elections ay si Vice Mayor Dodot Jaworski.
Sa Threads, ibinandera ng Pasig mayor ang magiging kalaban niya next year –ang negosyanteng si Sarah Discaya ng St. Gerrard Construction at St. Timothy Construction Corporation (STCC).
“Thank you, Chairman Garcia and Comelec, for acting to preserve the integrity of our elections,” bungad niya sa post.
Patuloy niya, “But let’s remain on guard. They are planning to file their candidacy in Pasig.”
Pagbubunyag ni Mayor Vico, “Imagine being a financier/contracting party for Comelec’s automated election machines, and running in the same elections?? Hindi ko maunawaan kung paano nila naiisip na OK lang ‘yun.”

Dagdag niya sa hiwalay na post, “The evidence is also overwhelming– the 2 construction companies have common incorporators, use the same business address…the Presidents of both companies even declare the same RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS [laughing emoji].”
Nabanggit din ng alkalde na “questionable” ang track records ni Discaya bilang government contractors.
“Example, they were once suspended by the DPWH for submitting a fake BIR tax clearance,” esplika pa niya.
Mensahe niya sa publiko, “Dapat malaman ng tao ang mga bagay na ito. Wala yatang ibang magsasabi kaya ako na lang.”
Samantala, kasama ni Mayor Vico sa pag-file ng certificate of candidacy ay ang kanyang mga magulang na sina Vic Sotto at Coney Reyes.
Sa isang ambush interview, proud na inihayag ni Bossing ang kanyang all out support para sa anak.
“‘Yung mga style na bulok, hindi na uubra sa Pasig ‘yun. Alam naman ng Pasigenyo ang tama o mali. Nakikita natin ang pagbabago sa takbo ng gobyerno dito… Matalino ang mga Pasigenyo,” sambit niya.
Giit pa ng actor-comedian, “Matalino na ang mga botante natin ngayon.”
Siyempre, may mensahe rin siya para sa anak: “Keep up the good work. You’re doing a good job. I’m proud of him.”
Sa kasalukuyan, si Mayor Vico ay nahaharap sa kasong graft pero naniniwala siya na ito ay parte lamang ng maruming plano ng ilang political groups.
