Pelikula nina Vice, Bossing, Piolo, Dennis pasok sa Top 5 ng MMFF 2024

NAPILI na ang unang batch ng mga pelikulang makakasali sa 50th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) na magsisimula sa December 25.
Ginanap ang announcement ngayong hapon sa Manila City Hall sa pangunguna ni MMFF Executive Committee at Metro Manila Development Authority chairman Don Artes. Ang City of Manila ang magiging host ng 50th anniversary ng MMFF.
Naroon din siyempre si Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan, ang MMFF Executive Committee head na si Boots Anson Roa-Rodrigo at si First Lady na si Liza Araneta Marcos na all-out ang ibinibigay na suporta sa entertainment industry.

Narito ang unang limang pelikula na maglalaban-laban sa ika-50 edisyon ng MMFF.
1. “And The Bread Winner Is…” starring Vice Ganda, Eugene Domingo and Maris Racal mula sa ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc. at The Ideafirst Company. This is directed by Jun Robles Lana.
2. “Green Bones” by GMA Pictures starring Sofia Pablo and Dennis Trillo directed by Sig Dulay.
3. “Strange Frequencies: Haunted Hospital” by Reality MM Studios, INC., starring Jane de Leon, Enrique Gil, Alexa Miro and MJ Lastimosa. Ito’y mula sa direksyon ni Kerein Go.
4. “Himala Isang Musikal” mula sa Kapitol Films/Unitel na pagbibidahan nina Aicelle Santos at Bituin Escalante mula sa direksyon ni Jose Lorenzo Pepe Diokno.

5. “The Kingdom” ATP/Mzet and MQuest starring Vic Sotto and Piolo Pascual and directed by Michael Tuviera.
Ang limang napiling pelikula ay base sa ipinadalang script ng mga producer at ibinandera nga sa nangyaring grand launch kanina ng 50th Metro Manila Film Festival na mag temang “Sine Sigla sa Singkwenta.”
The event was hosted by Jake Ejercito and Isabelle Daza.
Para naman sa mga magsa-submit ng finished films, ang deadline para sa pagsusumite at iba pang kinakailangang dokumento, kabilang ang opisyal na trailer, clippings at behind the scenes, ay sa September 30.
Iaanunsyo ang lima pang pelikulang makakapasok sa Top 10 sa darating na October 15.
