Pia all out support kay Christi: ‘She might be our next Miss Universe!’

PROUD na ibinandera ni Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach ang isa mga kandidata ng Miss Universe Philippines ngayong taon.
Sa Instagram, inihayag ni Pia ang kanyang all out support para sa kaibigang si Christi McGarry, ilang araw bago ang coronation day ng nasabing kompetisyon.
Para sa mga hindi aware, si Christi ay batchmate ni Pia sa Binibining Pilipinas noong 2015.
“McGarry and I go [way] way back in 2015 when we competed together [nine] years ago and despite being ‘competitors’ during the pageant, we grew to be really good friends through the years,” pag-alala ni Miss Universe 2015.
Patuloy niya, “When I was going for Miss Universe, not even for a single moment did I feel she didn’t want me to win or that she wished for me to fail. Christi was always proud and supportive of me.”

Ayon kay Pia, tila binigyan ng isa pang pagkakataon si Christi upang matupad ang kanyang pangarap na maging Miss Universe, ngayong inalis na sa pageant ang age limit.
“With unwavering support, she’s back in the game. She’s built a career as a model, host, DJ, entrepreneur, environmental advocate…this girl isn’t afraid of the grind,” sambit ng actress-beauty queen at inilarawan pa ang kaibigan na, “well rounded woman, respectable, kind, professional [and] and a stunner.”
Dagdag pa niya, “I believe in her as much as she believed in me.”
Wika pa ni Pia, “I’m so proud of her growth and courage. If Miss Universe were tomorrow, she’d be ready.”
Giit niya sa dulo ng post, “Our next Miss Universe might just be her.”

Tila naantig naman si Christi sa kanya at lubos na pinasalamatan si Pia.
“[Always] so proud of you and so grateful for you not just as someone I look up to but more importantly as a friend,” reply ng MUPH 2024 contender sa comment section.

Kung maaalala, si Christi ay nauna nang koronahan bilang Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2015 at Miss Intercontinental 2015 first runner-up.
Kakalabanin naman niya ngayon ang 52 iba pang mga kandidata sa MUPH competition ngayong taon na magaganap sa Mall of Asia Arena sa darating na May 22.
