Maxene miss na miss na si Francis, may hugot sa ‘Kaleidoscope World’

HANGGANG ngayon ay baon-baon pa rin ng Kapamilya actress na si Maxene Magalona ang mga payo at paalala sa kanya ng amang si Francis Magalona.
Isa sa mahahalagang life lesson na natutunan niya sa yumaong Master Rapper ay ang pagiging patas sa lahat ng bagay.
Maaga raw itinanim sa kanyang isipan ng namayapang ama na kahit sumikat sila at magtagumpay sa buhay na, “Were not more special or more important, na lahat tayo’y pantay-pantay.”
Sa guesting ng aktres sa nakaraang episode ng “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda”, natanong siya kung gaano na niya nami-miss ang ama.

“So much. Lalo na the kind of person that he was, nakaka-miss talaga siya,” sey ni Maxene.
Marami rin siyang memories kasama si Kiko (palayaw ni Francis) na binabalik-balikan niya kapag nami-miss niya ang OPM icon.
“My favorite memory is when he would pick me up from school in Katipunan and we would drive going back to Antipolo just the two of us.
“He would talk to me about ‘yung trabaho namin, that we shouldn’t look down on other people just because we’re on television.

“He made sure na naintindihan ko ‘yon, that we were not more special or more important, na lahat tayo’y pantay-pantay. And this is what he would sing about in ‘Kaleidoscope World,’ right?” pagbabalik-tanaw ni Maxene.

Isa pa sa mga paalala sa kanya ni Francis, “People will not remember what you said or what you did, but they will always remember how you made them feel.”

“He knows the feeling of being looked at and pointed for your flaws, but then he wants to be that person that ‘I’m not gonna judge you ’cause I want to make you feel what it’s like not to be judged,'” aniya pa
Sumakabilang-buhay si Francis noong 2009 dahil sa leukemia. Nitong nagdaang March, binigyan muli ni Maxene ng tribute ang ama bilang pag-alala sa 15th death anniversary nito.
