NGAYON pa lang ay excited na ang pageant fans all over the world sa pagrampa ng 60-anyos na abogado sa Miss Universe 2024 pageant.
Gumawa ng kasaysayan ang lawyer at journalist na si Alejandra Rodríguez bilang kauna-unahang 60-year-old beauty queen na nagwagi sa Miss Universe Buenos Aires.
Isa siya sa mga kandidatang maglalaban-laban para sa national selection ng Miss Universe Argentina 2024 sa darating na Mayo.
“I am thrilled to be representing this new paradigm in beauty pageants because we are inaugurating a new stage in which women are not only physical beauty but another set of values.

Aniya pa, “I think the judges saw my confidence and my passion to represent the women of my generation. I am determined to fight for the crown of Miss Universe Argentina 2024.”
Sa kabilang ng kanyang edad, balitang maraming taga-Argentina ang sumsuporta sa kanya at nagpu-push para siya ang maging kinatawan ng kanilang bansa sa Miss Universe 2024.
Noong September, 2023, in-announce ng Miss Universe Organization na tinatanggal ba nila ang age limits sa mga pageant contestants na dati’y para lamang sa mga babaeng 18 hanggang 28 ang edad.
Hindi lamang si Alejandra ang may edad nang kandidata na pumasok sa beauty pageant this year, nandiyan din ang 47-year-old na si Haidy Cruz na magiging representative ng Dominican Republic sa 2024 Miss Universe.

“Participating in a beauty pageant always fascinated me. However, due to becoming a mother at a young age, I was never able to make that dream a reality,” ani Haidy sa panayam ng Hola! USA.

“Miss Universe, which promotes inclusion, offered me the chance to pursue my dream. My inner voice urged me to go for it, to experience the journey instead of just hearing about it,” aniya pa.
“I must admit that I often ignore what others say. I remain focused on my goals and am determined to achieve them.
“I understand that people often speak from their own limitations, and no one can live your dreams for you. Some may not be aware that the terms of the (Miss Universe) have changed.
“I thank God that I am not affected by what others say. I have been in the public eye for a long time and have learned how to handle criticism.
“I allow others to express themselves as they please, but in the end, I am the one who decides what affects me or not,” pahayag pa ng beauty queen.
Ang Miss Universe 2024 ay gaganapin sa Mexico sa September 24.
