Ibinahagi ng beauty queen ang malungkot na balita sa kanyang Instagram account kalakip ang black and white photo nila ng kanyang yumaong lola.
Aniya, wasak na wasak ang kanyang puso sa pagpanaw ni Lola Basing at matinding sakit daw ang nararamdaman niya ngayon.

“Today, I lost the person I loved more than anything, and the pain is unbearable.
“I’m at a loss for words. Lola, I loved you with everything I had, and now I feel completely shattered and unable to move on. I am heartbroken. God please,” ang caption ni Alexie sa kanyang IG post.

Sa isa pa niyang post, ibinahagi ng beauty queen ang litrato ng kanyang sulat para sa kanyang lola noong bisitahin niya ito sa kanilang tahanan. Tinawag pa niya itong “My mother, my father, my bestfriend, my mentor, my master teacher, my greatest love.”
“I wrote this when I was next to you last month during my visit home. My hands were shaking, my heart was breaking, and tears were falling from my eyes as I writing.
“I know in my heart that you were never mine to keep. I spent the whole night staring at you, my heart deeply yearning and begging God not to take you away from me.
“Sitting next to you in the middle of the night for what turned out to be the last time few moments, I found the strength to write again.

Si Alexie ang itinanghal na Miss Eco International Philippines 2024 sa naganap na Miss Universe Philippines pageant. Ang kinoronahang Miss Universe Philippines ngayong taon ay si Chelsea Manalo.
Nakatakdang lumaban si Miss Eco International pageant next year.
