Patrick ayaw munang mag-showbiz ang mga anak; ingat na ingat sa mga kilos

KUNG si Patrick Garcia lamang ang masusunod, ayaw muna niyang sumabak sa pag-aartista ang kanyang mga anak.
Alam na alam ng aktor ang buhay ng isang batang artista sa mundo sa showbiz dahil napagdaanan at naranasan na niya ito ilang dekada na ngayon ang nakararaan.
Sa YouTube channel ni Toni Gonzaga, natanong ang aktor kung papayagan ba niyang sumabak sa entertainment industry ang kanyang mga anak this early tulad ng ginawa niya noong bata pa siya.
“As of now, being a child in this industry, wag muna,” ang mabilis na sagot ni Patrick.

Paliwanag niya, “If they are old enough, kung gusto nila yung industriya and they are old to decide. For me, I don’t want them to like for the popularity, for the people. I don’t want them to join it for that reason.
“You join it because you want to do something. You want to act or you want to dance.
“You want to express the talent of yours and you know, share it to people then you are in the right place. But if it’s just for likes, to be popular or money, no,” lahad pa ng aktor.

Apat ang anak ni Patrick at ng asawa niyang si Nikka Martinez – sina Michelle Celeste, Nicola Patrice, Francisca Pia at Enrique Pablo. May isa naman siyang anak kay Jennylyn Mercado, si Alex Jazz.
Samantala, sinisiguro ngayon ni Patrick na maging magandang example at role model sa kanyang mga anak. Gusto rin niyang mag-set ng bar para sa magiging ideal man ng kanyang mga anak na babae.

“Building the faith, starting from loving the Lord. Usually, kasi sa girls, you are more overprotective or protective of them when it comes to love and relationships when they grow older.
“And if I’m going to be their benchmark for choosing a guy, I want to set the bar high in terms of how I treat them,” paliwanag pa ni Patrick.
“They’re sponges, so whatever they see, they copy, even the bad things sometimes, so you have to be careful,” dugtong niya.
Sa tanong kung boy dad o girl dad si Patrick, “Parang mas sanay ako sa girls. My youngest is very malambing towards me.”
Ito naman ang mensahe ni Patrick para sa mga anak, “Find something that they love to do. When you’re having fun, even if it’s work, it’s easier when it’s fun. Because when it’s fun, they got to do the work easier.”
Ikinasal sina Patrick at Nikka noong March, 2015 sa isang intimate ceremony sa Blue Leaf Pavilion sa Pasay City.
