HINDI na matutuloy ang inaabangang Girl Love (GL) movie nina Janella Salvador at Jane De Leon.
‘Yan ang ibinunyag mismo ni Janella sa interview niya with “On Cue.”
Kwento niya, in the works na sana ang nasabing proyekto dahil pareho silang nag-“yes” ni Jane, ngunit ang nakakalungkot na balita ay bigla itong naudlot.
“I actually got sad kasi we were actually supposed to do a GL na, as in na-pitch na siya samin,” chika ng aktres.
Pagbabahagi pa niya, “There were a little bumps along the way, with approvals and all of that, ‘yung sa side ng mga yes and no. But in the end, we both said yes na, pero hindi siya nag-move past that.”

Ayon kay Janella, hindi pa niya alam kung ano ang rason kung bakit hindi natuloy ang GL movie, pero thankful siya dahil magsasama pa rin daw sila ni Jane sa isang upcoming project.
“I don’t know…pero na-happy ako nung in-offer ‘tong ‘How to Be a Good Wife’ samin,” saad niya.
Dagdag ng singer-actress, “But of course, I’m aware everyone’s waiting for the GL. Trust me, we’re both waiting.”
Kung maaalala, nagsimulang mag-request ang fans sa dalawang aktres na magkaroon ng GL movie nang bumida sila sa 2022 reiteration ng Mars Ravelo’s “Darna.”
Kahit sila’y magkalaban – si Jane bilang “Darna”, habang si Janella ang gumanap “Valentina,” ay marami ang nagsasabi na may chemistry sila.
Last year lamang, tinanong ng Philippine Daily Inquirer kay Jane kung ano ang reaksyon niya sa on-screen chemistry nila ni Janella na siyang kinakikiligan ng maraming fans.
“This was totally unexpected. I asked people about this and they said the audience is actually feeling the kilig, that Jea and I have chemistry,” sagot niya.
Sey pa niya, “If this is what the audience wants, then we will gladly give it to them. We want to make them happy, to keep them entertained.”
“It’s not usual that people have this clamor, especially from younger fans,” Ani pa niya.
Sina Janella at Jane ay nakatakdang magsama sa upcoming dark comedy thriller film na “How to Be a Good Wife.”
