Piolo nag-yes agad nang ialok ang ‘Pamilya Sagrado’: It’s very complex

ISANG taon lang pala ang naging pahinga ni Piolo Pascual sa paggawa ng serye dahil last year ay bumida uli siya sa Netflix series na “Chef Chico.”
Bukod dito ay ginawa rin niya ang musical play na “Ibarra,” nagkaroon pa ng series of shows sa ibang bansa, nag-concert sa Resorts World at gumawa ng pelikulang pang-Metro Manila Film Festival, ang “Mallari” na hanggang ngayon ay palabas pa rin sa 78 cinemas on its 4th week.
Huling teleserye ni Piolo sa Kapamilya Network ay ang “Flower of Evil” noong 2022 kasama si Lovi Poe at ngayong 2024 ay nagbabalik siya sa “Pamilya Sagrado” na tinawag na epic series.

Sa ginanap na storycon kahapon ng “Pamilya Sagrado” ay gagampanan ng aktor ang head of the family.
Kuwento ni Piolo sa panayam ni MJ Felipe sa “TV Patrol” kagabi, “As the title suggests, it’s about a family. ‘Pamilya Sagrado’ is our family. It will discuss about fraternities and brotherhood. What will prevail — love, loyalty or justice?”

“It’s very complex. As much as we want to share it already, this is the first time that we all got together and pinresent ‘yung buong story and I’m excited for our audiences because aside from it being new, something different, it’s really exciting, it’s good for the times, and it’s very now.
“So, maraming kapupulutan ang audience natin for sure at magru-root sila sa characters na magugustuhan nila. Ang laki ng cast so, I’m just really excited,” aniya pa.
Sa tanong kung anong mga dahilan kung bakit napa-oo si Piolo sa “Pamilya Sagrado”, “’Yung concept niya, actually. Kasi as an artista naghahanap tayo ng bago, something na matsa-challenge sa craft mo sa trabaho mo at ito ‘yun!
“The first time it was pitched to me, I said yes right away because you can never go wrong with Dreamscape (Entertainment) and what more with ABS-CBN,” pahayag ng aktor.
Puring-puri ni Piolo ang Kapamilya network pagdating sa paggawa ng magagandang teleserye at nabanggit nga nito ang huling ginawa niya na “Flower of Evil.”

At ang wish ni Piolo sa nakaraang birthday niya, “Well top of mind ay healthy lagi tayo and sana dire-diretso and who would have thought na ABS (CBN) dire-diretso with more projects after what happened.
